Snowmobiling

Options for snowmobiling in the Bitterroot Valley are as wide open as the terrain. With miles of trails and acres of open terrain there is plenty of snow to get you grinning.

Skalkaho Snowpark

Providing access to Skalkaho Pass, Skalkaho Basin, and Sand Basin. The Skalkaho / Rye Creek Snowmobile Trail system offers over 50 miles of groomed snowmobile trails and endless backcountry snowmobiling terrain. For more info, visit the Forest Service page: Snowmobiling

Lolo Pass

Starting at Lolo Hot Springs or at the summit of Lolo Pass, roughly 250 miles of interconnected trails offer great snowmobiling access to the Lolo and Clearwater National Forests.

Lost Trail Pass

At the southern end of the valley on top of Lost Trail Pass there is a series of trails and Forest Service access. Parking is available just east of the ski area on Hwy 43. For more info, visit the Forest Service page: Snowmobiling
