Why come all the way to Hamilton, Montana to play Golf?
For those of you who are uninitiated in the sport of Golf, there are many reasons to take up the
sport. First, golf is good for you. It’s good for your body’s health, because it includes long walks,
and swinging a golf club. The time spent outside in the sun, exercising—leisurely exercising—is
good for your mental health. And golf is often played in groups, which can be a fun experience
to get together with family and friends alike.
Golf is also a game of repetitive practice. And to be good at it requires a lot of time walking the fairways and putting the greens. However, golf is also just plain fun to play. It’s a sport for both the young and old. As soon as a child can reliably swing a golf club and has the dexterity and hand-eye coordination to play the sport, he or she will be ready to do so.
And to be able to play the sport with such a spectacular backdrop as the Bitterroot Valley makes the sport even more enjoyable. So, if you are a golfer coming to the Bitterroot Valley this summer, or someone looking for a quiet, remote, beautiful place to spend a vacation, we hope to see you soon.
