The overlook of Bear Creek Canyon is absolutely stunning. You can see it in a little less than 3 miles out and back. A long drive up the mountain gains you some altitude. The trail is listed at moderate with an elevation gain of 1,160.

To access the trailhead, take US Highway 93 to Tucker crossing, 3 miles south of Victor, turn west onto Bear Creek Road and follow to the Red Crow Road turning right. After two miles, turn west on Pleasant View Drive as it winds along the mountains. Look for the junction with Forest Road 1325 after 3.9 miles. Follow for another 3.6 miles to the trailhead at the gated end of the road.
