The Missoula International Airport (Johnson-Bell Field) is the main gateway by air to the Bitterroot Valley. It is approximately 45 minutes – 1.5 hours by car to most Bitterroot Communities.
Missoula International Airport is located in Missoula County, Montana approximately four miles northwest of the City of Missoula. Major highways providing access to the airport are Interstate 90, U.S. Highway 10/93, and Montana State Highway 200.

Ravalli County Airport
(6S5)
Ravalli County Airport (6S5) is located in Hamilton, Montana. The airport was built in 1934 the field was constructed in a “T” shape, with a north-south runway a quarter mile long and 400 feet wide and an east-west runway a quarter mile long and 400 feet wide, running along what was called “the airport road” (now called Tammany Lane). Ravalli County Airport is one of the busiest GA airports in the state this is because it lies in the middle of some of the greatest recreation areas of Western Montana and Idaho. Ravalli County Airport is the gateway to the back country.
Stevensville Airport

Stevensville Airport (FAA LID: 32S) is a town-owned public-use airport located two nautical miles (3.7 km) northeast of the central business district of Stevensville. Stevensville Airport covers an area of 207 acres. It has one runway designated 12/30 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,800 by 60 feet.
