In a valley surrounded by the Bitterroot Mountains to the west and the Sapphire Mountains to the east, it’s probably easy to see why many artists, makers and creators make their home in Montana’s Bitterroot Valley. And one of the best ways to see the work of these artists is to attend the annual “Artists Along the Bitterroot Studio Tour” from November 1 – 3, 2019.

A look at some of the artists who make their home in the Bitterroot Valley.

This year’s tour features 15 artists from Lolo to Hamilton; the tour is free and artists will open their studios from 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. on each day of the tour. To participate, print off this map or book your seats on the tour bus for $20. The bus will take riders to at least four studios per day, including a stop for a no-host lunch and options include a one-day tour or all three days. Learn more about the bus option (and  purchase tickets) here.
